Fat Batt Sizes

Fat batt sizes are manufactured to fit in the wall studs & ceiling joists of most buildings - 430mm & 580mm x 1160mm.

The R-ratings for Walls R1.5& 2.0.

For Ceiling R2.5 to R5.0.

It is never too late to insulate your Ceiling

It's never too late for existing homes to take control of their comfort. As long as there is adequate access in the roof space you can insulate your ceiling.

Fat Batt Wall Installation

Insulating existing Walls requires you to remove the plasterboard to get to the cavity behind it. If you are planning on renovating, leave the wall insulation until then. Howerever, If your walls are not insulated you may want to consider using a higher R-value in the ceiling to help compensate.

Fat Batt BCA Compliant

The AS/NZS 4859.1 Standard requires more detailed information on packaging, bulk home insulation product labels, such as Insulco fat batts must now display the following key information.

- Net Weight of pack

- Total Area

- Mean Thickness

The BCA Compliant stamp of approval has been placed on all our packs.
